Ask a Librarian at Palisades Park Library
Ask A Librarian

Welcome to our online reference service – Ask a Librarian. Before we can assist you, please read the guidelines and complete the form below.

Guidelines

Questions are checked Monday through Friday during regular operating hours. Responses to questions are generally provided within three days. If you need a quicker response, please call the Library during regular operating hours.

Please be specific and provide as much relevant information as possible. The more you tell us, the more accurate our answer. Instead of asking, “Please tell me something about the history of Palisades Park." You could ask, "How did Palisades Park get its name?" In some cases, you may be asked to clarify your question before a final response is provided.

If an answer requires photocopied information, the response will be delivered via U.S. Postal Service. There will be a $.15 per page charge for photocopying, in addition to the cost of postage.

Some questions may require extensive research. In this case, an in-person visit to the Library may be necessary. Please note, Palisades Park residents will be given priority in our responding.

Please complete this form in its entirety.
